Russell Reyher made his first stove – a wood burning model, in 1976. It was sold under one of the best known and respected names in the industry at that time. In 1983 he pioneered a new line of gas fireplaces and free standing stoves. It turned out to be an idea that was so ahead of its time, it was refused entry to the Hearth Products Association national show, as gas appliances were not allowed. Who would have forecasted then that gas was to become the most popular of all fuel sources throughout the industry?

Marketing

Most of the Kingsman products in use today have been sold under other brand names. That changed in 1996 when the company established its own distribution network and introduced its own name to a market that was acquainted with its products, but not with the Kingsman name.

At the same time, the company committed to being more than the best manufacturer in the business – it also wanted to be the best marketer. To the Reyher family and the executive members of the company, that means stable agreements with quality servicing dealers. At Kingsman, there’s no interest in becoming the largest volume producer but rather the one that provides the highest level of long-term satisfaction for consumers, dealers and distributors alike. Each has the right to expect pride and a reasonable level of exclusivity in their choice of Kingsman as their appliance manufacturer.

So, you won’t find the Kingsman name in a do-it-yourself discount store. An established dealer can be confident that the dealership’s identification with the Kingsman brand will be respected throughout a reasonable trading radius.

Shipping

The Kingsman line consists of fireplaces, inserts, outdoor units, and free standing stoves. All are available in both natural gas and liquid propane models. Each is sold with its own set of styling options as well as other customer choices such as chimney/vent systems.

Every shipment leaving the factory has been assembled and packaged to assure all of the right parts arrive together for complete fulfillment. Considering the complexity of the product line and the breadth of choices offered with each model that requires unwavering attention to detail.
