Shipping Policy

All orders over $99.00 ship free with Standard Ground Service to the 48 contiguous States.

Shipping charges for orders under $99.00 will be charged a flat $9.99 shipping fee.

 Orders that contain individual items that are less than $99.00 will ship free Standard Ground Service provided the entire order totals more than $99.00.  

Orders that have multiple items shipped to the same address, will not incur any additional shipping charges. Because our items are frequently shipped from multiple warehouses, we are unable to use any other private or commercial shipping account that is not our own.  We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Expedited delivery options are available at checkout for an additional cost. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico require shipment by air and are not eligible for free shipping. Shipping will be calculated using real time rates and will be charged to you upon checkout, if the product is available to ship to those states . 

Ships Within (Processing) Time

“Ships WIthin Time ” is the time needed to receive, process and ship your order. Please add shipping time to the “Ships Within Time” time to estimate the arrival of your package. Please note that because some of our items are made to order the processing time may also include the manufacturing time. As a general rule, Standard Ground shipping takes between 5-7 business days to arrive after the order is placed, processed, and payment information is secured.

Please Note: Items will not be delivered on Holidays. Expedited shipping is available and can be estimated during the checkout process before you enter your credit card information and give final order approval. Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to U.S. states that legally require sales tax to be collected. Sales tax rates vary from state to state. The sales tax indicated on the Sales Order will be calculated to reflect applicable taxes at the time the payment is processed.

Cancel or Change an Order

We rely on a heavily automated process to provide you with the fastest service possible.  For this reason, an order can only be cancelled if it is Pending Approval.  Orders that are Pending Fulfillment, Partially Fulfilled, or Billed cannot be canceled.  The primary reason for this is that many of the products we carry are shipped directly from the manufacturer. To ensure prompt delivery the order is transmitted to them as soon as possible, making it very difficult to stop the shipment after they have received the order.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

30 Day Return Policy

At The Fireplace Social we want you to be satisfied with the products you purchase; if you don’t feel satisfied for any reason, we allow a simple returns policy that allows you to return any new, unassembled, and resalable items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund. The refund issued will be for the total sum of the order minus original outbound shipping and any return shipping costs acquired by The Fireplace Social. If your return is due to an error made on our end, the buyer will not be responsible for shipping costs.

-If your return request is due to product defect or damage, we will first attempt to work with you to repair the product. If repair is not possible, we’ll work on getting the product replaced.

-If your return will be returning to us via Freight service, we will require a photo of the item as you’ve packaged it in order to have a “before” image of the package to protect against any perceived damage caused during return shipping.

-Upon returning an item(s), be sure the product is clean and the packaging is sufficient to prevent damage during the shipping process.

Refund Eligibility

For an item to be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be within 30 days of delivery and in a new, unused, unassembled, and resalable condition. The item(s) must also be in it’s original packaging.

The refund total will have the cost of original outbound shipping deducted.

-A return shipping label can be given upon request, but will be at your cost.

For returns that require freight service, a freight truck can be scheduled to pick up the returning item(s) but you will be responsible for the cost.

Certain items are not eligible to be returned for under this policy; certain items are customized and built to order based on designed specifications for you and do not qualify for a standard return.

Refunds will be applied to the same form of payment used at the time of original purchase for each transaction.

Once received in our warehouses, returns are usually processed within 3 days and can take additional time for your bank to process the return.

The Fireplace Social reserves the right to refuse a refund if:

The returned item is missing parts or the original product’s packaging, either of which were not previously stated by the customer.

The item being returned has been used or is no longer in new and resalable condition.

The item returned does not match the original item shipped.

The item was damaged during return shipment due to improper or insufficient packaging.

The photo taken prior to item(s) return via Freight services was deceitful and resulted in falsifying the return process.
